About Dr. Anita Sethi
Dr. Anita Sethi is a highly trained and skilled eye specialist in Delhi-NCR, with more than 22 years of clinical experience. She is currently the Director of the Ophthalmology department at the one of the nation’s foremost hospitals – FMRI, Gurgaon.
She completed her specialization and training from the prestigious Dr R P Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi. Dr Sethi has further trained as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK (1997). She is credited for establishing the branch of Ophthalmic sciences at many reputed medical centres, including Artemis health institute, Gurgaon & Nova Specialty Hospitals, New Delhi.
Dr Sethi has a vast experience in the field of eye surgery, including anterior segment surgery, Phacoemulsification surgery & LASIK. Her special interest lies in Orbital & Oculoplastic surgery. She is also proficient in refractive surgery, ptosis surgery & other eyelid surgeries, cornea treatment and cataract treatment, and has worked extensively with trauma and acid burn victims.
Dr. Sethi is a renowned expert and has been an invited faculty in several conferences on the Phacoemulsification and LASIK. She has participated and organized many sessions and workshops on the various aspects of Eyelid and Orbital surgery at national level. She published numerous research papers in indexed journals and has been invited to review articles for the Indian Journal of Ophthalmology, a prestigious indexed national journal in the field ophthalmology. Dr. Sethi has authored a book and contributed several chapters in other books.
